1. Introduction
Welcome to RoofRegen.
These Terms & Conditions explain how we handle customer enquiries, roof assessments, quotations, bookings, payments and the roof-care services we provide.
Our aim is to make the process clear from the moment you contact us through to completion of the work.
We believe customers should understand what they are agreeing to, what is included in their quotation and when payments become due.
These terms should be read alongside your individual quotation and any service-specific documents supplied to you.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts your statutory consumer rights.

Our website provides general information about RoofRegen and our services.
You may use it to:
- Explore our services.
- Find out about roof cleaning and restoration.
- Read about RENOTEC coating.
- View genuine completed projects.
- Check our proposed service areas.
- Request a quotation.
- Contact our team.
Website descriptions and photographs provide general information.
They are not a substitute for an assessment of your particular property.
A treatment shown on another roof will not necessarily be suitable for yours.
We may update website information and available services where necessary.
You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation or submit deliberately false information.
5. Service Areas and Availability
RoofRegen accepts enquiries for suitable work across its operational service areas, which may include properties in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
A location appearing on our website does not automatically guarantee that all services are available at every address.
We may need to confirm:
- Your full property postcode.
- The work requested.
- Property type.
- Roofing material.
- Roof condition.
- Safe access requirements.
- Applicable restrictions.
- Assessment and work availability.
Where a service is unsuitable or unavailable, we will explain the appropriate next step where possible.
6. Making an Enquiry
Customers can contact RoofRegen through our website, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, SMS, email or telephone.
When you submit an enquiry, we may record the details you provide so that we can respond.
This may include:
- Name.
- Telephone number.
- Email address.
- Property postcode.
- Service requested.
- Information about the roof.
- Other details voluntarily provided.
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically create a contract for paid work.
It is an opportunity for us to understand what you require and determine whether we can assist.
7. Confirming Your Service Requirements
Following an enquiry, RoofRegen may contact you through an appropriate permitted channel.
For example, after a Facebook or Instagram enquiry, you may receive a WhatsApp or SMS message asking which roof-care service you're interested in.
We may ask you to confirm whether you require:
- Roof Cleaning & Moss Removal.
- RENOTEC Roof Coating & Colour Restoration.
- Minor Roof Repairs.
- Gutter Cleaning & Clearing.
- Advice about an issue you're unsure of.
Once we have sufficient information, we can explain the next step.
Where a property assessment is appropriate, we may provide a link allowing you to select an available appointment.
WhatsApp communications are initiated only where the relevant permission and messaging requirements have been met.
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to future promotional marketing.
Our Privacy Policy explains how customer information and communication preferences are handled.
8. Property Assessment Bookings
Where appropriate, customers will be offered the opportunity to book a roof assessment.
The booking process may involve:
- Confirming the service required.
- Checking the property location.
- Providing a suitable assessment booking link.
- Allowing the customer to select an available date and time.
- Confirming the appointment once booked.
Booking Confirmation
Once an assessment has been successfully booked, we may send confirmation by email and SMS.
We may also provide an assessment information document explaining what to expect during the visit.
Appointment Reminders
We may send relevant reminders before the appointment.
Any reminders are intended to help customers prepare for the agreed visit and reduce missed appointments.
Rearranging an Assessment
If you need to rearrange or cancel an assessment, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
RoofRegen may also need to rearrange an assessment due to weather, access, safety or other reasonable operational circumstances.
Assessment Charges
Where an assessment is expressly offered and agreed as free, no assessment fee will be charged.
If a particular assessment involves a charge, we will explain the amount and obtain your agreement beforehand.
No Obligation to Proceed
Booking an assessment does not oblige you to accept a quotation or purchase any further service.
9. The Property Assessment
An assessment helps us understand your roof and the work being considered.
Depending on the service requested, the assessor may review:
- Roof materials.
- Visible roof condition.
- Moss or other contamination.
- Areas of discolouration.
- Potential minor defects.
- Relevant access arrangements.
- Suitability for cleaning.
- Suitability for RENOTEC coating.
- Necessary preparation.
- Other material concerns or restrictions.
Photographs and Assessment Records
We may take relevant photographs during the assessment to document the property's condition and support the proposed quotation.
Assessment information may include:
- Survey observations.
- Photographs.
- Relevant measurements.
- Roof material information.
- Proposed work.
- Limitations or exclusions.
We aim to limit photographs and records to information reasonably relevant to the assessment and service.
Assessment Limitations
Unless otherwise expressly agreed, an assessment is not a comprehensive structural survey or certification of the entire roof.
Some defects may not be visible during an initial assessment.
Where further investigation is necessary, we will explain the concern.
10. Assessment Reports and Quotations
After the assessment, RoofRegen will prepare the relevant report and proposed quotation where we are able to offer the work.
The documents may include:
- Information about the property.
- Assessment observations.
- Proposed service.
- Recommended treatment.
- Relevant roof photographs.
- Work included.
- Work excluded.
- Preparation requirements.
- Materials or products proposed.
- Relevant limitations.
- Price.
- Payment terms.
- Applicable promotional terms.
- Relevant guarantee information.
- Customer cancellation information where required.
Approval Before Issue
Quotations and associated documents are reviewed through RoofRegen's approval process before they are issued.
Once approved, the quotation, relevant report and applicable terms may be emailed to the customer.
We may also send an SMS confirming that the quotation has been issued.
Quotation Validity
Any quotation validity period will be stated in the quotation itself.
Changes to a Quotation
If information becomes available that materially affects the proposed work, we will explain the issue.
Additional chargeable work will not proceed without the appropriate customer agreement.
11. Accepting a Quotation
You may accept a quotation using the acceptance method provided with the quotation.
A contract for paid work is formed in accordance with the relevant acceptance process and applicable contract law.
When a quotation is accepted, the agreed contract should identify:
- The property.
- The work being undertaken.
- The agreed price.
- The 50% deposit.
- The remaining 50% payable on completion.
- Relevant work arrangements.
- Applicable cancellation rights.
- Relevant service-specific conditions.
- Any expressly agreed guarantee.
Opening or viewing a quotation does not automatically constitute acceptance.
We will record the customer's actual acceptance before requesting the contractual deposit.
12. Our Payment Structure — 50% Deposit and 50% on Completion
RoofRegen's standard payment structure for agreed work is:
First Payment — 50% Deposit
A deposit equal to 50% of the agreed quotation total becomes payable following acceptance of the quotation.
RoofRegen will send a payment request containing a payment link to your email address.
The deposit is part of the agreed total price and is not an additional fee.
Second Payment — Final 50%
The remaining 50% of the agreed quotation total becomes payable upon completion of the agreed work.
Once the completion information has been reviewed and approved for issue, RoofRegen will email you the completion report and final payment request, including the relevant payment link.
Payment Example
For an agreed quotation of £2,000:
- 50% deposit: £1,000.
- Final 50% upon completion: £1,000.
- Total agreed price: £2,000.
Important Payment Information
The quotation will identify the total price, applicable taxes and any agreed discounts.
Payment is not considered received merely because a payment link has been sent.
If the agreed scope or price changes, any adjustment must be properly agreed and reflected in the relevant payment information.
Deposits and Your Legal Rights
The 50% deposit does not remove your statutory cancellation or refund rights.
A deposit is not automatically non-refundable in all circumstances.
Any lawful deduction or amount retained after cancellation depends on the applicable contract, work undertaken, reasonable costs and consumer law.
13. Payment Confirmation and Work Scheduling
Following payment of the required deposit, RoofRegen will confirm receipt.
Where the necessary contractual and service checks have been completed, we may then provide the next scheduling arrangements.
These may include a link allowing you to request or select an available work date.
A work date is confirmed only once the relevant scheduling arrangements have been accepted and the appointment has been recorded.
Work Scheduling
Before a work date is confirmed, relevant considerations may include:
- Deposit payment confirmation.
- Property access.
- Required materials.
- Weather-sensitive work.
- Safe access arrangements.
- Applicable cancellation rights.
- Any necessary permissions.
- Appropriate team availability.
Customer Confirmation
Once the work has been scheduled, we may send a confirmation by email and SMS.
We may also send relevant reminders before the agreed work date.
No Guaranteed Immediate Start
Payment of a deposit does not guarantee that work will commence immediately.
The agreed schedule depends on availability, suitability and the contractual arrangements.
14. Customer Responsibilities Before Work
To help the work proceed safely and effectively, customers should provide accurate information and reasonable access to the agreed areas.
Please inform RoofRegen about:
- Known access restrictions.
- Shared driveways or access routes.
- Relevant neighbouring property arrangements.
- Known fragile areas.
- Any relevant roof defects.
- Applicable property permissions.
- Other known hazards that may affect the work.
Where reasonably necessary and explained before attendance, we may ask that vehicles, garden furniture or other movable items are relocated.
Customers should not climb onto roofs or undertake unsafe tasks in preparation for our visit.
RoofRegen remains responsible for its own applicable health and safety duties.
15. Weather, Safety and Appointment Changes
Roof cleaning, coating and other exterior services may depend on suitable weather.
Strong winds, heavy rain, unsuitable temperatures or other conditions may affect whether work can safely proceed.
Specialist coating may also require particular preparation, drying or application conditions.
Where work must be postponed, we will contact you and discuss appropriate alternative arrangements.
We may need to reconsider the proposed work if:
- Access is unsafe.
- The roof is in materially different condition from that previously understood.
- Roofing materials are unsuitable.
- Significant unexpected defects are identified.
- Relevant permissions are unavailable.
- The work cannot be undertaken safely.
Any contractual consequences will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
16. Commencement of Work
Before starting the agreed work, the attending team may complete a job-start assessment or record.
This may include:
- Confirming the property.
- Confirming the service.
- Reviewing access.
- Recording relevant existing conditions.
- Checking agreed work instructions.
- Taking appropriate before photographs.
The purpose is to document the property's condition and help confirm that the agreed work is suitable to proceed.
Unexpected Conditions
If we identify material conditions that affect the work, we will explain them and seek agreement to any necessary variation.
We will not automatically carry out additional chargeable work without authorisation.
Start of Work During a Cancellation Period
Where an applicable statutory cancellation period has not yet expired, RoofRegen must comply with the relevant requirements before commencing work.
These may include obtaining the customer's express request and any legally required acknowledgement.
Further details are set out in the cancellation section.
17. Professional Roof Cleaning & Moss Removal
Professional roof cleaning focuses on the removal of suitable moss, algae, lichen and surface contamination from appropriate roof coverings.
The agreed method depends on the material, condition, contamination and safe working requirements.
Expected Appearance
Cleaning may improve the roof's appearance, but results vary.
Some tiles may remain faded or have existing staining or wear.
Cleaning does not automatically recreate the roof tile's original manufactured colour.
Pre-Existing Defects
Roof cleaning does not automatically repair:
- Cracked or broken roof tiles.
- Defective roof flashings.
- Structural roofing problems.
- Pre-existing leaks.
- Other defects outside the agreed work.
Where necessary, these issues may require separate repair or specialist investigation.
Moss Regrowth
Moss and other organic growth may develop again over time.
Growth depends on the roofing surface, shade, moisture and environmental conditions.
Unless expressly provided in an applicable written guarantee, roof cleaning does not promise permanent moss prevention.
Treatment Products
Any treatment included in the service will be identified or described as appropriate in the quotation.
The use of a treatment does not automatically guarantee that organic growth will never return.
18. RENOTEC Roof Coating & Colour Restoration
RENOTEC is a specialist coating system intended for specified compatible mineral roof tiles.
The suitability of the treatment depends on the roof material and its condition.
Assessment and Compatibility
Before proceeding, relevant factors may include:
- Roofing substrate.
- Surface condition.
- Existing damage.
- Previous treatments.
- Preparation requirements.
- Manufacturer instructions.
- Coating colour.
- Access.
- Relevant property restrictions.
Not every roofing material is suitable for RENOTEC.
Natural slate and sensitive traditional coverings must not automatically be treated as compatible.
Preparation and Application
The agreed quotation should specify the relevant coating system and preparation requirements.
RENOTEC application must follow the applicable manufacturer instructions, including the specified coating process and number of coats.
Any separate additives or enhanced products are only included where expressly specified.
Roof Colour
The final appearance may vary according to roof texture, lighting and other relevant conditions.
Illustrative colour photographs cannot guarantee an identical appearance on every property.
Any applicable restrictions on visible roof-colour changes must be considered.
Water-Repellent Properties
RENOTEC has manufacturer-described water-repellent and other surface properties.
These properties must not be confused with a guarantee that an existing roof is structurally sound or watertight.
RENOTEC does not replace necessary repairs or resolve active leaks caused by underlying defects.
Manufacturer's Guarantee
The RENOTEC product literature previously supplied to RoofRegen refers to a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee.
It separately refers to 25-year proven performance.
These are different claims.
A 25-year performance statement is not a 25-year RoofRegen workmanship or installation guarantee.
The applicability of a manufacturer's guarantee to a specific roof depends on the current product and guarantee requirements, including any relevant material, preparation, application, installer or registration conditions.
Where a manufacturer's guarantee is applicable, the relevant terms and documentation will be confirmed for the individual job.
We do not represent an unverified manufacturer's guarantee as automatically covering every property or installation.
Any additional RoofRegen workmanship guarantee must be expressly set out in writing.
19. Standalone Minor Roof Repairs
RoofRegen accepts standalone minor roof-repair enquiries for suitable work.
A customer does not need to purchase cleaning or coating to request a minor-repair assessment.
The quotation should identify the specific area or issue being addressed.
Minor roof repairs do not automatically include:
- Full roof replacement.
- Structural roof works.
- Investigation of every existing defect.
- Repair of unrelated water ingress.
- Specialist heritage restoration.
- Work outside the agreed area.
Where replacement materials are used, their appearance may differ from weathered existing materials.
Any additional chargeable repairs must be separately agreed.
20. Gutter Cleaning & Clearing
Gutter clearing involves removing suitable debris from the gutter channels included in the agreed quotation.
This may include:
- Leaves.
- Moss.
- Twigs.
- Other accumulated organic material.
Unless expressly included, the service does not automatically provide:
- Replacement gutter sections.
- Repairs to defective joints.
- Downpipe replacement.
- Fascia replacement.
- Underground drainage investigation.
- Correction of unrelated drainage defects.
Clearing debris may improve rainwater flow where an obstruction is the cause.
It does not guarantee that existing gutter defects have been repaired.
21. Roof Revival Package
RoofRegen may offer its Roof Revival Package with qualifying professional roof-cleaning bookings.
Where the offer applies, the advertised complimentary services include:
- FREE Window Cleaning
- FREE Gutter Clearing
- FREE Fascia & Soffit Washing
- FREE Biocide Moss Treatment
Eligible local customers may also receive an advertised 30% discount on full driveway or patio cleaning, subject to the applicable promotional conditions.
Eligibility
The package applies to qualifying roof-cleaning work.
It is not automatically included with:
- Standalone minor roof repairs.
- Standalone gutter clearing.
- RENOTEC coating.
Actual eligibility depends on the advertised terms, property, service scope and confirmed geographical availability.
Complimentary Services
The quotation or offer confirmation should identify the included complimentary work.
Items genuinely advertised as free must not be subject to undisclosed compulsory charges.
Promotional Discounts
Any applicable 30% discount must be explained against an appropriate and substantiated price basis.
Once a promotional offer has been agreed as part of a contract, the applicable contractual commitments must be honoured.
22. Additional Work and Contract Variations
Sometimes issues become apparent during a job that were not fully identifiable at assessment.
Examples include:
- Damaged roofing materials.
- Unexpected preparation requirements.
- Defective roof components.
- Access restrictions.
- Previously concealed problems.
- Unsuitable materials.
Where additional work is recommended, RoofRegen will explain:
- The issue.
- The proposed solution.
- The additional work.
- Any effect on price.
- Any effect on timing.
We will seek agreement before carrying out additional chargeable work.
A customer is not automatically obliged to accept further services.
23. Completion of Work
Following completion of the agreed work, RoofRegen records the services performed.
The completion information may include:
- Date of completion.
- Actual work undertaken.
- Relevant materials and treatment systems.
- Before photographs.
- After photographs.
- Details of any outstanding concerns.
- Relevant aftercare information.
Completion Review
The completion information is subject to RoofRegen's internal review process before the report and associated documents are issued to the customer.
Completion Report
Once approved for issue, the customer may receive:
- A completion report.
- Relevant before-and-after photographs.
- Information about the completed work.
- Any appropriate aftercare details.
- The final payment request.
Completion records relate to the actual agreed work.
They are not a certification of the entire roof unless expressly included in the contract.
24. Final Payment — Remaining 50%
Upon completion of the agreed work, the remaining 50% balance is payable.
RoofRegen will email the relevant final payment request and payment link.
The final balance will reflect:
- The original agreed contract price.
- Deposit already paid.
- Any separately agreed variations.
- Applicable credits or adjustments.
- Any other lawful and agreed changes.
Payment Confirmation
Once final payment has been received, RoofRegen will record the payment and may send a receipt and confirmation.
Payment Questions
If you believe a payment request is incorrect or have a genuine concern about completed work, please contact us promptly.
We will review the matter in accordance with the contract and applicable consumer law.
A payment obligation does not remove statutory remedies for defective or non-conforming services.
25. Statutory Cancellation Rights
Your cancellation rights depend on how and where the contract was entered into and the nature of the services.
For many consumer service contracts entered into remotely or away from business premises, a statutory 14-day cancellation period applies.
Where applicable, this normally runs for 14 days after the day the service contract was concluded.
You may cancel during that period without giving a reason.
How to Cancel
Contact RoofRegen using a clear statement of your decision.
Email: sales@roofregen.co.uk
Telephone: 0330 137 2017
Postal Address:
RoofRegen Ltd
10 Bayside Close
Poole
England
BH15 4FW
Where required, we will also provide the statutory model cancellation form.
You may use that form or another clear cancellation statement where permitted.
Refunds and Deposits
Where a valid statutory cancellation requires a refund, RoofRegen will provide it within the legally required period.
The fact that a 50% deposit has been paid does not remove the statutory cancellation right.
Starting Services During the Cancellation Period
If you wish work to begin before the statutory cancellation period ends, we may need an express request and legally required acknowledgement from you.
For qualifying off-premises contracts, the request must be made on a durable medium.
If work is performed following the required express request and you then cancel, a lawful proportionate amount may be payable for services already supplied.
Where the service has been fully performed following the necessary request and acknowledgement, the cancellation right may end in accordance with the applicable rules.
These consequences will be explained where relevant.
Urgent Repair Exceptions
Specific statutory exceptions can apply to certain urgent repairs or maintenance expressly requested by the customer.
These exceptions are limited.
Ordinary planned roof cleaning and coating should not automatically be classified as urgent work to remove cancellation rights.
26. Cancellation or Rescheduling Outside Statutory Rights
If you wish to cancel outside an applicable statutory cancellation period, please contact us.
Any contractual cancellation charge will be considered fairly, taking account of:
- The agreed contract.
- Work already carried out.
- Reasonable costs incurred.
- Materials ordered for the agreed job.
- Costs that can reasonably be avoided.
- Applicable consumer law.
The full 50% deposit is not automatically retained simply because a customer cancels.
Any retained amount or cancellation charge must be justified, fair and lawful.
If RoofRegen is unable to undertake the agreed work, we will discuss the appropriate arrangements and apply the relevant contractual and legal rights.
27. Guarantees and Warranties
It is important to distinguish between three different forms of protection.
Manufacturer's Product Guarantee
A guarantee offered by a product manufacturer, subject to its particular terms.
RoofRegen Workmanship Guarantee
A separate guarantee covering specified work carried out by RoofRegen, only where expressly offered.
Statutory Consumer Rights
Legal rights that apply independently of any additional guarantee.
RENOTEC Manufacturer Information
The supplied RENOTEC manufacturer literature refers to a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee and a separate 25-year proven-performance statement.
The 25-year statement must not be treated as a 25-year guarantee.
For any applicable manufacturer guarantee, current eligibility and terms must be confirmed for the individual project.
Other RoofRegen Services
Any separate guarantee for roof cleaning, standalone minor repairs, gutter clearing or coating workmanship will be provided in writing where genuinely offered.
No universal guarantee duration is implied for these services.
Written Guarantee Information
Where a guarantee applies, the relevant documentation should identify:
- Who provides it.
- What is covered.
- Its duration.
- Applicable eligibility.
- Reasonable exclusions.
- How to make a claim.
Guarantees are additional to, and do not replace, statutory consumer rights.
28. Aftercare and Customer Satisfaction
Following completion and payment, RoofRegen may provide:
- A payment receipt.
- A thank-you message.
- Relevant aftercare information.
- A genuine customer-review invitation.
- A follow-up satisfaction check.
- A private customer-feedback questionnaire.
We may ask customers whether they are happy with the work and whether anything requires attention.
If a customer reports a concern, it can be reviewed under our customer-service or complaints process.
Review Invitations
Reviews are voluntary.
Customers are free to provide honest feedback.
Review requests are not dependent on a customer providing a positive rating.
Promotional Survey Incentives
RoofRegen may occasionally offer separately promoted customer-feedback incentives.
Any such promotion will be governed by its own published eligibility rules, entry conditions and applicable terms.
Participation in a future promotion is not automatically included in every roof-care contract.
Promotional incentives must not be conditional on leaving a positive public review.
29. Customer Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, please contact us.
Email: sales@roofregen.co.uk
Telephone: 0330 137 2017
We may ask for:
- Your name.
- Property address.
- Quotation or job reference.
- Description of the concern.
- Relevant photographs, if available.
We will review the matter and explain the appropriate next steps.
Where contracted services fail to meet applicable legal requirements, statutory remedies may include repeat performance or an appropriate price reduction, depending on the circumstances.
Nothing in these terms removes those legal rights.
30. Our Responsibilities and Liability
RoofRegen is responsible for carrying out agreed work with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing excludes or restricts liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Mandatory consumer rights.
- Other liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
RoofRegen does not guarantee results beyond those expressly agreed in the contract or relevant guarantee documentation.
Responsibility for a particular issue depends on the circumstances, agreed scope and applicable law.
These terms do not exclude responsibility for damage caused by a failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
31. Property Photographs
RoofRegen may take relevant photographs during assessments and work.
These may be used for:
- Property assessment.
- Quotation preparation.
- Documenting the starting condition.
- Recording work completed.
- Completion reporting.
- Handling customer questions or complaints.
Any proposed public marketing use of identifiable property photographs will be subject to appropriate privacy, rights and permission requirements.
We do not automatically treat every completed job photograph as approved public advertising content.
32. Privacy and Communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information.
Our Cookie Policy explains how the website uses relevant tracking technologies and how you can manage your preferences.
https://www.roofregen.co.uk/privacy-policy/
https://www.roofregen.co.uk/cookie-policy/
You can contact RoofRegen if you wish to update relevant communication preferences.
33. Intellectual Property and External Links
RoofRegen's name, logo, original content and owned materials are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
Some photographs and other materials may be used under licence.
You may use our website for ordinary personal research when considering our services.
Unauthorised commercial reproduction of protected materials is not permitted, except where allowed by law.
External websites linked from RoofRegen may have their own terms and privacy practices.
34. Changes to These Terms
We may update these general website terms where necessary.
A change to website terms does not automatically amend an existing customer's accepted contract.
Any proposed changes to agreed contractual work must be handled in accordance with the relevant contract and applicable law.
35. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
Nothing in these terms removes a consumer's right to rely on applicable law or bring proceedings where legally entitled.
